Hand-picked from two blocks in the coastal hillsides of Monterey County, Lyric takes full advantage of its natural surroundings when sourcing Pinot Noir. Monterey enjoys misty weather in the north and warm, sunny days in the south.
This range of microclimates is the ideal condition for creating balanced and complex Pinot Noir. In addition, Monterey's well-blended shale-type soil is key to growing deep roots that lock in nutrients and find water in dry conditions, helping vines produce small, healthy grapes and expressive wines.
